About

Sara Engbretson is an associate focusing on civil litigation, including complex contract dispute litigation, partnership and shareholder disputes, foreclosure actions, deceptive business practice claims, contested estates, estate administration and guardianship proceedings.

Ms. Engbretson litigated her first jury trial while in her third year of law school, through the Law Offices of Chicago Kent, and was awarded the 2011 Fleischman Family Award for Excellence in Criminal Clinic for her dedication and her zealous advocacy on behalf of her Criminal Clinic clients.

After sitting for the bar exam, Ms. Engbretson rejoined the Criminal Clinic as a faculty fellow, where she continued her tireless representation of Clinic clients, before joining a tax resolution firm where she focused on negotiating the best possible solutions to hundreds of clients’ individual and business tax liabilities.

Seeking to return to her litigation roots, Ms. Engbretson joined Regas, Frezados, and Dallas in May of 2014, where she continues to employ her litigation and negotiation expertise in counseling, advising, and representing her clients in a wide array of legal matters.
